The Delta Zeta Marketplace began in 1967 as the Delta Zeta Arts and Crafts show at the Heart of Huntsville Mall with approximately 100 exhibitors. Then, as today, the purpose of the show was to raise money for local charities. Sponsored and organized by a group of Delta Zeta alumnae who live in the Huntsville area, the show has grown into a large specialty marketplace offering a wide variety of merchandise. A completely volunteer group, our members are from all over the country and represent all different age groups and walks of life.
Because of the success of the Marketplace over the past 41 years, Delta Zeta has donated over $500,000 to the Huntsville Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other local charities. |
